Angel is a glam metal band based out of Washington D.C. They were discovered back in the mid-70's by Gene Simmons of KISS and signed to their label, Casablanca. The main output of the band was over a four year period (75-79) and broke up in 1981. However, they reformed in 1998 and is still active.
